I am using the stock Epi

I asked SD what to use via email. They have not responded.

I called about something else and the tech said stock would be fine

I had some install problem you can see my other post.

Would a neck phat cat or a 59/jazz be better for Charlie Christian or Wes Montgomery tunes?

"both" posistions being in the middle when both pickups are on. They still hum individually, but I hear the wax potted covers helps reduce that.

I wanted my PCs to emulate the P90's that Duncan makes for PRS. I had em make me a Vintage Neck (rwrp) for the neck and a neck version of a Custom P90 for the bridge. (Trust me it works)

    Tone is awesome.

    Hot Soapbar (P-90) No 11.86k 14.9k Ceramic bar 5.1khz 4.7khz

    Very fat, lots of drive

    Custom Soapbar (P-90) No 12.0k 14.61k Ceramic bar 4.5khz 3.5khz

This is from the tone chart I could not find Phat cat P90s

    Someone enlighten me

I knew they were single coil. I just thought they were diferent from regualr P90s in their tone. I'll give them a try, the tone wizard recomended them
