  • Vintage Stack for Tele

OK. Time to re-mod the tele. Right now I have a DiMarzio Twang King in it that I like just fine except for the noise. I get a lot of buzz. This may be a shielding issue, I guess. Anyway, I love to play it but everytime I bring it to practice the bass player rolls his eyes and prepares for the sqeeking. I know, I know, I shouldn't let the bass player, of all people, to push me around but that's a topic for another post.

I am looking at the SD Vintage Stack for Tele. Anyone have any experiece with this pickup? I want this tele to remain a tele, if you know what I mean. It needs to sound like a tele. I'd love to be able to do that with a hum-cancelling pickup. Let me know what you think.

    Rock on.

I have the Hot Stack Tele bridge and a Vintage Stack neck in my Tele and I installed the Vintage Stack set in a students Tele. The Vintage Stack set is unmistakably Tele sounding but without the hum. Great pickups if you have low noise needs and want great Tele tone.
