dimebucker

Re: dimebucker

It's only available as a bridge model. I've never played a guitar with one so I cannot comment on your other question.

Re: dimebucker

ok well i think im gonna land me one of those... and hmm... JB in the neck? or i think dostortion comes in neck to... that combo sound reasonable?

Re: dimebucker

JB isn't a neck model. Distortion neck would be a better choice (although some people do use the JB as a neck pickup).

Re: dimebucker

thats what im getting, a distortion/dimebucker setup, im just waiting for the DD to come in, and once it is..BAM im gonna have new pickups in my guitar

dimebag used a dimebucker and a 59 model, which is what i was gonna go with but then i realized i wanted a DD, at one point i also wanted a jazz in the neck but i scratched that too.

Re: dimebucker

i love the dimebacker! its been all but one of my electric guitars so far. I have had it paired with a Alnico 2(N), a Jazz(n), And a Seymour Duncan vintage p90 (bridge pup in the neck spot... i did this so it would keep up with the dimebucker better.) Once I had the dimebucker in the neck and an invader in the bridge. I liked the dimebucker in the neck too! all of these combonations i really liked! my favorite so far is the p90/dime. a dual dimebucker guitar would be sweet also..

That could be a sweet setup. I hope you write us a little review when you get the whole thing going. ;)

Re: dimebucker

Slightly O/T but:

I have read in a few places that Dime used a Dimarzio in the neck spot, was this before the Duncans?, does anyone know which one or anything?
