  • Is there a better choice for me?

I use a three channel amp,one for cleans one for ryhthms only and one for lead only, my rhythm channel is dailed in for a little less mids(more thrashy metal toned) and my lead channel is set for more mids(for body and creaminess and harmonics) right as of NOW i find the peavey wolfgang pups to be the best for this application(the pups have to be extremely balanced tonally not too much mids and not to little)
Am i missing out on a better choice than the wolfgangs which to me really cover the gamut of styles,i use them split for cleans so that is not a issue as i have heard from others who use them in full humbucking mode
FWIW,i was considering the C 5 and a alnico II pro neck?

If you really like the Wolfgangs, you should keep 'em.
Why don't you take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here?!

yeah twilghlit's got a point there. Why mess with something you know is good for you? But if you want plenty of mids, and plenty of everything go for a Custom.

I have to agree. If you like em, stay with em.
