If you're looking for extremely tight bass, it's hard to beat the Duncan Distortion.

Can you give an example of tight bass and solid bass from a song or a sound clip, cause I'm not sure of the difference, I'm an idiot too!

The JB has pretty solid lows. I think that's why the nu metal guys like them.

Teenagers can't sing the Blues. They ain't fixin' to die yet. Adults sing the Blues. In Blues, "adulthood" means being old enough to get the electric chair if you shoot a man in Memphis.

I have the Rio Grande BBQ and it has thick and solid bass....not as tight as the bass from my C-5. I like this fat and round bass I get from the pickup.
The Tone Zone and the Air Zone are supposed to be similar.

                              hails all the guys
Well.. let me try to explain me again

i mean that i want to know what seymour duncan PICKUP has the More SOLID Bass response of all seymour duncan pickups.
i mean that i do not want a pickup with tight bass. I WANT A PICKUP WITH SOLID LOWS.
                              ahahahahah

well... i don´t know a sound that has a solid low as an examp´le
BUT........ i wrote a example on one of my posts on this threads.

SOLID LOWS = WHEN A 10 TON TRUCK FALLS FROM THE NIAGARA FALLS, AND HIT THE GROUND OR THE WATER.
THE EACT MOMENTO THE TRUCK HITS THE ROCKS/WATTER ... IT PRODUCES A STRONG, SOLID AND HEAVY(BASS) CRASH SOUND. SO..... THAT IS THE SOUND THAT I MEAN WHEN I TALK ABOUT SOLID LOWS
                              AHAHAHAHAHAHAAH
                              DO YOU GOT IT GUYS?
                              Q

Solid Bass, sharpened and cutting through teh mix MIDDS, and singing/STRONG "LAZER RAYS SOUND" HIGHS
                              Q
                              ANY THOUGHTS?
i will search my cds and try to give you a band/cd name that has SOLID LOWS.
