Re: Is my Alnico Pro II pickup neck or bridge version?
I have a set of the APH's, and there is a definate difference in the tone between the bridge and neck. DC resistance is the best way to tell.

.25? Kinda makes you wonder if there's any real difference at all.

Re: Is my Alnico Pro II pickup neck or bridge version?
If you have access to a decent quality meter, you can measure its DC resistance.
The bridge version should measure around 7.85k ohms.
The neck version, around 7.6k ohms.
The problem is, with anything less than a "lab-grade" meter, that degree of variance could be within the meters own accuracy.
Perhaps, someone else will have a better technique.

I got an used Alnico Pro II pickup. The sticker has been removed. Is there any other way to find out which one I have?Tags: None
