Yes, and it's a hot one 12.7k. But in a good way, I liked how it sounds in my buddy's Electra LP playing through his super reverb, Clear and chimey.

          Re: DD Neck?

Some Seymour catalogs show it and some don't. I didn't look for it at the SD site, I've been looking on eBay for a few weeks and haven't seen one.

My interest in the DD neck is as a bridge PU.

Check this out http://www5.ocn.ne.jp/~dgb/index_e.htm then humbuckers calculated turns (1 and 2) and you will see that the SDb, DDn, and Custom type pickups use the same gauge wire .057 mm (only .002 mm variance...Does that even constitute a difference in insulation?)

Wow the DDn is like the PU in-between the SD and the C type.

Also note DDb and JB use .051 mm wire. Jazzn and A2P use .065.

I'm gona go out on a limb:

          .065 mm = #42 Vintage types
.057 mm = #43 Tele neck, SDb, DDn, C Types
          .051 mm = #44 DDb, JB

Anyhow, I'm intrigued by dropping a a2 in a DDn for use as a bridge PU and am glad to know they exist...thanks guys

Not a problem, let us know how it turns out and post some clips if you can.
