    Im getting an ESP Edwards LP with Duncan Antiquities, are those wax potted ? And what do you think of those pups ?

    I believe they're A2's from 2008.

    not wax potted, but some of the best at what they do IMO

        They are wonderful pickups if your style depends on massive dynamics, and play dead clean up until Plexi levels of gain. Outside of that, if you use tons of preamp gain, and lots of volume, there would be other better choices. But if you depend on touch-sensitivity, then there are unlikely to be a better set of pickups.
