Fake p90?

Can some one tell me if these p90 is fake or not at first sight? im wondering because the cover wont fit, and the seller bought it second hand

Can it be that the cover shrinked because is not properly placed?

Get a resistance reading and the model of the pickup and compare it to the website. I wouldn't worry about the authenticity of a pickup because the cover doesn't fit. Gibson tends to be 49.2 while most aftermarket are 50mm pole spacing.

Looks as if the cover is meant for a wider pickup, that's all. Maybe a DiMarzio cover?
