Treasure for me. I've got quite a few. Love 'em all. Not a bad one in the bunch.

Am I wrong to think the
Designed hotrails are HOTTER than the Production model?

MY SL3 Jackson is abit over the top but I kinna like it.....

Nope. That's how they designed it. I think the DD 59's are a bit smoother too.

Thanks Artie I knew I knew that info.....
I stepped away from the World of PUPS for a time
MY sl3 is Neckthru Maple/Poplar sides I like it better than some of the Basswood side guitars...

The Distortion Designed seems less ice pick toppy to me too...

These are legit...certainly better than a lot of stock pickups in sub $800 guitars.

I have the pre-loaded SC101 set in a Strat. Anyone who picked this up couldn't tell it, (tone-wise), from an expensive MIA Fender. All the classic jangle and chime that you'd expect from single coils.

Also, I have the Squier Vintage Modified Surf Strat, with the DD Lipstick Tubes. It's got it's own unique thing going on. Kinda an old "Dano" vibe. Love it.

Like them. I have HB 103's in 2 guitars and a Detonator. If they are right they are right.

Heh, heh. You're going to talk me into taking mine off the Trading Post.

P.S. Does anyone know what the HB112b originally came in? It's the quasi Screamin' Demon.

I’ve always had positive experiences with them. The JB sounds great.
                    Oh no.....

                    Oh Yeah!

The HB112 was originally the Duncan/Ibanez HB103B that was in the SZ series. The only difference we're the hex poles instead of slugs. It's closer to the distortion. I regret getting rid of mine.

And its working. I'm going to stick it into my little Rockmaster today, and remind myself of what it is.

Depends on the model. Most are just ‘meh’ to me aside from the Detonator and oddly, the P90s.
