Hey everyone. I have an Esquire with a BG1400 in it. Right now it's wired fairly standard and I wanted to play around with it. I was looking at 2 different types of wiring diagrams. One would run it series/parallel/split with a 3 way switch. The other uses a 5 way super switch and has those 3 modes plus the eldred mod and the arlo mod.
I'm pretty good at following wiring diagrams, but not super great at really understanding what every connection does. I guess my question is, is there a way to sort of meet in the middle with these wirings? I don't need 2 cocked wah sounds, so is there a wiring that would give series/parallel/split/eldred, preferably with a non-super switch? The 2 diagrams i've been checking out are below. Thanks!
