    Named after the baddie (Christopher Lee) in the 1974 Bond Movie "The Man With The Golden Gun". Scaramanga, so the plot went, had three nipples, this has three knobs, so...

    No name pre painted body off Fleabay
    Might Mike 22 fret 9.5 inch radius neck with rosewood fingerboard
    Kluson locking tuners
    Fender American Series tremelo assembly - 2-1/8 inch spacing, 5 springs
    Seymour Duncan pickups - SSL-1 neck and bridge SSL-1-RWRP middle
    Standard 5-way switch plus push-pushes to add the neck + bridge in parallel and to phase invert the middle.

    Congrats! It certainly isn't as cheesy as the 70s Bond films. Have you watched Moonraker lately?

        Question is do I have to wear the full Roger Moore safari suit to play it or will khaki shorts suffice?

            Sounds a little bit "brighter" than my genuine Fender MIM (which has the same strings and SSL-1 neck and middle pickups).

            Could it be the white (instead of black) pickup covers?

                • Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack in the neck and Little 59 Humbucker in the bridge
                • American veteran made body in broad leaf maple by Rob aka Supra-tone (eBay) in Minneapolis
                • Mighty Mike 22 fret 9.5 inch radius neck, rosewood fretboard
                • 2-1/16 string spacing
                • Gotoh solid brass (i.e. heavy) bridge with solid brass saddles
                • 5 - way super-switch gives all the usual combinations plus bridge and neck in series and bridge and neck in series with the neck phase inverted
                • Push-push 500k tone pot to coil split the humbucker as well
                • Fender locking tuners
                • Color is Rustoleum rose gold metallic with a parchment pickguard
