What value pots and capacitor are recommended?

I want a good "Tele twang" out of these.

It was designed to drop right in, with no change in the pots or cap. But experiment!
I don't know if the QP is a good pickup for twang, as it has more mids and a lot more output than what we normally think of as vintage Tele pickups. It does its own thing.

never owned the neck, but i use my SD Str-1 (which is brighter) without a tonepot most of the time.
same for the quarterpound bridge. i like the bridge that way.
so maybe a no load pot or pushpull pot is a good start, so you can take the tone cuircuit out.

Gotcha. I'd start with whatever you have around. You probably find as many people who like QPs with 500k as well as people who like 250k. As intended, it was designed to drop right in a stock Tele with 250k.

with 250k they are fat and a little dark. some like that, some like 500k which opens up the top a bit. if you want twang, definitely 500k. just rock, 250k is probably fine
