Here's what it looks like with the cover off. Looks like 2 fantom coils on each side with what looks like a coil that wraps around on itself but that could be the neodymium magnets on the ends, I don't see them anywhere. I'm confused about this thing, if anyone with more knowledge would fill me in on what's happening here it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

looks like maybe a stack in the middle with two side coils. no idea how its wired without a closer look

It looks a lot like a simplified version of the Vox CoAxe pickups from ten years ago, but without the outermost shielding coil.
Great sounding pickups with excellent noise rejection, in a model that sadly never caught on, even when Prince used one.

The forum software image link problems still haven't been fixed, but there's a pic here.
And an interview about the CoAxe pickup here.

Phil mcknight did a review of them.

I agree with Phil that the Fantom lost some of the high end bite of a traditional P-90, but it still sounds good. It's what I have noticed about all noiseless pups, they lose the bite of the regular pups.

I totally love the P-90 tone and have some favorite humbucker-sized P-90s as well. I used to be a big fan of the GFS Mean 90 (still am), but I've grown more attached to the GFS Dream 90...It's a little brighter than the Mean 90 which has more mids and it has a bit less output. Also a favorite humbucker is the GFS Dream 180. It has a lot of the character of a P-90 (like the Dream 90) but it's a two-coil humbucker. It splits well and works great in Mincer's "do it all" wiring. It actually sounds fantastic...very vintage sounding. But these pups only cast about $30!

All of 'em? Every single one of them?

Lace Sensors are noiseless and have plenty of bite. So do Bill Lawrence pickups. And to a certain extent, the Fender noiseless series are plenty "bitey". My Lindy Fralin noiseless P-90's have a surfeit of bite. Don't paint the whole bunch with the same brush, dude.

I haven't heard noiseless P90s that I like, but these might change my mind. I do love regular noiseless singles, though. I doubt I will ever use regular singles much anymore.

Yes, all of them. Every single one of them. Every single noiseless pup that has ever been made in the history of electric guitars. Even ones that were experimental/prototypes that were never manufactured.

Why do you always have to be so confrontational?

Of course I can only be referring to ones that I have actually heard...It would be impossible for me to be critiquing something that I haven't heard. I think any normal intelligent being would understand that.

So, to make everyone happy (or at least to make Goober happy) I'll correct what I said in my post to..."all noiseless pickups that I have heard", which admittedly is a very minor sampling of those available. There may be some that are actually brighter than their non-noiseless counterparts...I don't know...I haven't heard them. Happy now?

Now, Goober, don't ask me to list every one that I have heard. I'm not going to play into your silly games. Done, like it or not.
