Does anyone know the correct wiring for a STK-S7 Vintage Hot Stack Plus for Strat pickup which has a black, red, white and bare ground to an Obsidian Wire Electronics? The paperwork that comes with the Seymour Duncan STK-S7 pickup shows two possibilities:
1.
a. Black and Bare Wire to Ground
b. White to Hot
c. Red taped off
2.
a. Black and Bare Wire to Ground
b. White and Red to hot
Notes:
I have the STK-S7 in the middle of two other SD pickups on a Fender Strat.
The neck pickup is a SSL-7 "Quarter-Pound for Strat"
The bridge pickup is a SH-4 JB Model Humbucker
The Strat has a five way selector switch
Obsidian only has recommendations for SD black and white wiring and SD black/green/red/white/bare wiring.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
