  • how do tele bridge covers effect tone?

    i was just thinking about this... some put covers over the bridge/pickup of their tele... how does this effect the tone of the bridge pickup? does it make it brighter?

      Yep. I took it to an expert and i gave him the diagram you gave me. He took a look at it and everything i did. Turns out, i just had the switch wired up wrong! But everything works now, this guitar rules!!! Thanks a lot to all you guys for the help (oldslowhand, gearjoneser...). Well, I had fun, and i learned a lot from it. Now i can probably wire up a whole guitar the right way in a snap! (and i have a killer guitar!! )

          well you cant really palm mute.
          Down at the edge, close by a river.
          Close to the edge, round by the corner.
          Close to the end, down by the corner.
