Trembucker 59 - Ibanez RG

Hello everyone! I've done some research but found nothing...
I just bought a used RG420 with mahogany body and rosewood fingerboard but the Ibanez infinity pickups don't suite my tastes while neck and resonance are at the top in my opinion.
I want to play mostly blues and blues rock with this axe (it wasn't the original target , please don't comment ) so I'm on the market to buy some more blues tailored pups.
I have the opportunity to buy cheap a trembucker 59... It seems to be the one for me.
What do you think about?
Are the 59 any good for a mahogany guitar on the bridge?

The 59 is a great pickup for blues and blues-based rock. The mid-focus of mahogany and rosewood will help with the scooped nature of the 59 pickup. Even better, if you can get it cheap!

I used to have a 59 trembucker in my old RGA121. I loved that pickup as far as PAF-types go. I didn't play blues on it, though.

I think great 'all around' pickups like the 59 don't get the praise that more specialized pickups like the Black Winter do.

I really like the '59 neck. It can be bassy if you're not careful about the pickup height, but once you get that dialed in it has a lovely tone that sounds great clean or distorted for most styles. You would want a little more oomph in the bridge for heavier and more modern music, but for blues and blues rock the '59 combo should work great.

Yep, great all-round bridge pickup. Perfect for blues and blues-rock IMO. And generally very good in mahogany.
The 59 is more amenable than most to a wide variety of guitars - far less picky than many more-specialized pickups.
For me, it has never failed to perform well in anything.
