  • Wiring a LesPaul going from 4 wire to 2 wire?

I'm thinking about putting a custom shop ordered 4 wire lead Bridge Antiquity Humbucker I have in a Les Paul Standard. I'm not intersted in splitting it currently. How would I wire that up now, since it's usually a 2 wire conductor setup in the LP?

    Thanks in advance!

Just solder the red and white wires together and insulate them with electrical tape. Then ground out the green wire and the bare wire.
The black wire is your hot, solder that to your volume pot, toggle switch, output jack or w/e.

For what it's worth, it's actually pretty easy to convert a 2 conductor pickup to 4 wires, or a 4 conductor pickup to only 2.
