  • magnet intensity?

I just received 2 single coil pickups in the mail from an auction purchase and when I unwrapped 'em they had been shipped in a clear plastic pickup box together, and with the magnets drawn together.
Could this affect either or both of the magnets being stuck together like that for 3 days?
I wouldn't think that's the best way to ship pickups, is it?

no, it's cool. The mags should be the same strength.

Hello Bob....The pickups live their lives being close together in their magnetic fields on your guitar,so I wouldn't worry about it at all buddy...
