Trad Strat sounds? I would say the stock Fenders are hard to beat - especially the "Delta-tone" ones from the recent American Series Strats. Personally I either use the stock Fenders or when I want somethig different or don't have any of those around I use Duncans. I love the flat ones and my favorites are the SSL-2 for vintage style and the SSL-6 for a hotter/fatter sound. Been using them for years and they always work in whatever situation I use them in. YMMV.

ssl1's are great, antiquities are even better but if you want noiseless ones i think i would go for a classic stack.
