  • Pickup Recommendations??

I have an ESP LTD MV-200. It's got a Duncan JB in the bridge and a Duncan Designed HR-101 in the neck (no middle). I'm thinking of changing the neck pickup for something different. I'm not quite sure what i want, though. I really like the sound of a Les Paul neck pickup (when clean). I also want this pickup to split well. I'm thinking a Cool Rails, Vintage Rails or a Lil '59.

    thanks
    -Greg

try the cool rails and if it isn't what you like take it back, there is a 21 day return policy. Good Luck

after listening to the samples on the site, 2 more pickups have entered the race, JB Jr. and Classic Stack.

          what's your feelings??

What would you compare the JB Jr. to in terms of tone? I heard it, I like it, but will it mesh well with a full sized JB? and remember, coil splitting is important.
