  • PG vs. APII

What are the tonal differences between these two pups? They seem very similar to me. Mostly interested in the neck position. Thanks in advance.

    Re: PG vs. APII

    i haven't played the pg...but the A2P i have in a mahogany/maple capped strat like guitar...(brian moore i1)...

i love it...very mellow and smooth...not bright at all...i love it for real slow bluesy neck lead stuff...it also splits well

      Re: PG vs. APII

PG is brighter with more mids than A2P .

A2P are more PAF oriented and more scooped in the mids .

      Both are great PUs BTW
