BachToRock: Jazz/Custom Hybrid experience

I have an extra jazz and custom laying around and was thinking about hybridizing them with either an A5 or A8. I know the 59/custom hybrid is the most popular but has anyone fused the jazz with the custom? Before I begin, how is it different?

Me, I would just install them in a used guitar, a random one, just for the fun of it, or just ebay the pickups. I've never been into modding like that, but hey, whatever floats yer boat :D

I have a 59/JAZZ BRIDGE Hybrid in a H-S-S Strat with 250k pots.... it is excellent! I think LEW mentioned that Seymour recommends the Jazz Bridge in a Strat with 250k pots?

Have not experimented with a JAZZ/CUSTOM combo...

Thanks BachToRock, I have a 59N/JazzN (double screw) hybrid in the bridge of my Steinberger and it is extra special. It has so much detail and is the most expressive pup I've ever played with. I will make the jazz/custom hybrid and test which I like better (A5 or A8). It is going into a old frankenstrat.
