Picked up my Ibanez RG1570L last night after getting my new Alnico Pro II's (neck/bridge) installed.
Couldn't wait to get it home at check it out. I have a Marshall MG250DFX, (not the best amp in the world I know, but the best I can afford at the moment), and boy was I happy with the change!!
Compared to the stock Ibanez pickups it sounds like my guitar has been coated in honey On clean I can distinctly hear each note of a chord rather than the jumbled, muffled, bassy sound I had before. The sustain is longer and smoother and on overdrive it sounds clearer and more harmonic.
It's like the difference between listening to your stereo with your hands over your ears and then taking them away and hearing how it's supposed to sound.
I'm one very happy guy
