how would a JB at the bridge, and Vintage Rails at the neck and middle sound in a poplar body, with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard?

i was thinking this setup would sound good in my guitar because its the same set up in the yamaha Ty Tabor guitar. and he has killer tone. but, that guitar has a basswood body with a maple strip down the center.
