I need a neck pickup for my custom Strat. I play blues or blues-rock (Jimmy Thackery, Tommy Castro, ...). I'm not much in that "vintage quest". I want a pickup with extra string sensitivity, dynamics, and lots of singing highs. I don't need lots of output. The other pickups on the guitar are two Joe Barden S-Deluxe pickups. Is the Hot Stack neck a good choice for what I need ? Any other suggestions ? (I prefer hum-cancelling pickups, but ...)
