Interesting...what's the theory behind that? Why is it most humbuckers are potted, but none of the single coils are?

Can someone else confirm that Duncan single-coil pickups are not wax-potted? I have no reason to doubt beandip, I just want someone else to confirm it.

I don't know off hand, but I don't buy that at all, the ants may not be, but I thought the regular series was. I've heard singles that weren't potted squeal, so I don't buy that at all. i dont know for sure, but i would assume that most duncans are potted, i know the buckers are and i think that the singles are as wellComment

I asked Evan about this to get a definite answer...all Duncan single coil models are wax potted.
