I'm using Invaders, and the Vetta's tone KILLS in a live situation. Even when I was using the old 1.10 software, I consistently had a better live sound than the other guitarist in my old band, who was using a JMP-1 based rig AND a Dual Rectifier. So much so that he switched to a Vetta as well.

And papersoul is dead-on: for high gain sounds, Michael Romeo's live tone crushes anything out there. And all he used was a Vetta head through a single Mesa 4x12 cab.

the JB is the most versatile pup ever.. anything from power metal, 80's metal, hard rock, split for strat like tones and down to country lol


and it can ROAR under the right circumstances

I agree....the JB is Duncans best and is the most versatile IMO. Simply an amazing pickup.

However, I do think as far as roar goes...the Custom has it over the JB....it's just got a somewhat more raw sound to it IMO.
