  • epi lp: jb/jazz, cc/jazz?

I've finally gotten around to upgrading the pickups on my epi lp and have settled on the jazz for sure (the clean neck clip on the sd site is awesome...even if it is 10 secs) and either the jb or the cc. Questions are: what kind of magnets are each? Does that make a difference when pairing? I know that jb/jazz is popular but I really like the 'smooth' top of the cc...would it go well with a jazz? thanks...

i've actually been thinking of putting a jazz/jb or jazz/dd in my epi lp. i like how it distorts but im not too sure about the clean sound (lack of treble).
