They sound amazing and are probably the best vintage paf on the market but I ended up needing a vintage/modern PAF hybrid set. If you want a really vintage accurate sound out of your Les Paul, these were designed to make JB's R8/R9 guitars sound like "Magellin": His prized 59 burst.
I use a Seymour Duncan Liberator on my guitar, so these have never been soldered. The end of the braided cable has been separated into a "Y" so that I could attach Hot and Ground to the solder-less connectors. Other than that, mint condition.
