This is my beautiful 2003 Collectors Edition Hardtail, #15 of 150 made that year, hand signed by Dean Zielinsky. It has a stunning quilted maple top in Amber or Amberburst over a quarter sawn mahogany back with beautiful grain patterns. The top has marvelous quilting and pillowing effects.
It's all stock with a long list of standard features including Seymour Duncan JB/59', locking tone pros bridge, and Grover tuners. The top is a carved 3/4" slab of quilted maple over a mahogany body....a build just like a Les Paul, but in a double cutaway. I've owned and played several PRS guitars and the Hardtail's beat them all in ease of playability and more importantly tone. These guitars sing and resonate and this is a fine example of Dean's quality. This one weighs 8.5lbs on my digital scale.
More pics and details can be seen in my Reverb ad.
Seymour Duncan Forum brothers/members can buy this for $1675 plus actual shipping only. I could price it higher and just wait for it to sell, but I'd like to move it as I have my eye on another historic reissue.
