  • Custom wiring

I know exactly what I want but have no idea how to wire it. I was Hoping that the good people at the forum could create a diagram for me.

    Upper neck
    Option 1

    2 humbucker

    3 way pick up selector

    2 volume- Seymour Duncan liberator

1 master tone - push push bypass. Bridge pickup Bypasses everything & hits the jack.

2 on/off/on switch’s 1 for each pick up. for choosing between north coil south coil or full humbucker

2 on/on series/parallel switches 1 for each humbucker whatever the selected coils are this will decide whether the Selected coils will run in series or in parallel.

    Re: Custom wiring

Another idea. A diagram will be very helpful

    3 way pick up selector

    2 6 way switch’s 1 for each pickup

    Neck humbucker & it’s 6 way function
    1 neck humbucker in series
    2 neck humbucker in parallel
3 neck humbucker north coil in series
4 neck humbucker north coil in parallel
5 neck humbucker south coil in series
6 neck humbucker south coil in parallel

    Bridge humbucker & it’s 6 way function
    1 bridge humbucker in series
    2 bridge humbucker in parallel
3 bridge humbucker north coil in series
4 bridge humbucker north coil in parallel
5 bridge humbucker south coil in series
6 bridge humbucker south coil in parallel

    2 volumes- Seymour Duncan liberator

1 master tone - push push bypass. Bridge pickup Bypasses everything & hits the jack.

      Re: Custom wiring

I would like to wire my guitar with a concept inspired from Brian Mays red special. but this would be for a guitar with 2 humbuckers. I was Hoping people at the forum could create a diagram for me.

Below is the concept & the diagram from which the concept came about.

      My concept

      2 humbuckers

      No pickup selector

2 humbuckers each coil treated separately.
4 total coils. 1 on/off per coil so 4 on off switches. (on off switch will decide which coils are active.

4 Phase switches one for each coil. only works when 2 or more coils are selected.

Master Series parallel switch only works if 2 or more coils are selected.(whatever coils are selected this switch would decide whether the selected coils will run in series or in parallel.

      2 volume- Seymour Duncan liberator

1 master tone - push push bypass. Bridge pickup Bypasses everything & hits the jack.

Hi stranger, welcome to the forum.

You might have better luck posting this in the "Pickup Lounge"

Might also be appropriate to introduce yourself to the forum and tell us a little about yourself since you're asking for favors before you've even attempted to contribute to the community!
