My search for pickups is almost complete. Please help me complete my two sets!!!
I need two (2) pickups to finish my sets. I would prefer to have pickups from the old 3 letter sticker days (JBJ, etc.) of the early 80's to early 90's, but I realize that may make my search harder, so I'll be happy to find one from any era that matches my needs. Below is what I'm looking for:
Pearly Gates Neck. Preferably in double cream but I can also make a reverse zebra work as well (slug bobbins cream), since I have a regular zebra neck already, but I'm trying to match a double cream bridge.
59' Bridge. This one needs to be double cream. 59J, 59D, 59M, etc. preferable, but double cream is more important than age.
Some of you surely have these pickups hanging out in your pickup bin/drawer/box/bag. I'm willing to pay more than fair value for these, as I know there aren't as many out there. I would really appreciate your help finding these pickups.
I have a couple of pickups and pedals that I could trade for these pickups, or as partial payment:
SH4 JB - Black, short legs, 4 conductor lead, 10" long, plenty for any bridge position, good condition.
Seth Lover Bridge - Zebra, Long Legs (screw coils black). Vintage braided lead, plenty of length, very good to excellent shape.
Saturday Night Special Bridge - Zebra, Short Legs (screw coil cream). Full length 4 conductor wire; pickup is as new, with box.
Xotic SL Drive Chrome Limited Edition Bundle + Xotic Voltage Doubler. As new, killer pedal, 1 of 3000 produced, with box. Trade value ~ $120
Early Fulltone Fulldrive 2 from April 1999. These early Fulldrive models are magical through any inspiring amp; and this one is no exception. Non-Mosfet; Pull/Comp-Cut. With original box in excellent condition. Trade value ~ $120
