What's the significance of Barden pickups? I've never heard of them before, but I've never heard of a lot of things until I came to this forum. Is there something special about used Bardens rather than new ones? this site shows them as $130 each, but are these fake or something a la Bill Lawrence?I get to go to a lot of overseas places, like Canada.

Danny Gatton used the Tele pickups and got a killer tone...if you want to know more info do a Google search...there was a Tele set a Strat set, a Joe Perry Strat bridge pickup and a set of buckers...that's all Joe needed, his pickups are amazing, asnd it's sad that they are no longer being made!If you just read a post by The Guy Who Invented Fire please understand that opinions change, mind sets change and as players our ears mature...not to mention our needs grow and change. With that in mind, today I may or may not agree with the post you just read!
