I do not know the year, but this thing is great, I just want:
1) Fender Custom Shop Strat
2) Marshall Tube Amp
So I am moving some of my equipment.
The amp has the 100/60 watt switch and it has the built in Variac (they call it tweed mode) that lets you flip the switch to get a lower voltage which makes an incredible fenderish sound.
This is of course the amp that Santana as well as countless others used.
This thing is kinda cool also because you can use either EL34, 6V6 OR the included (mesa) 6L6 tubes.
