  • PEAVER EVH 5150 2X12 COMBO AMPLIFIER

    For your consideration...

    I have a Peavey EVH 5150 2X12 tube amp.

    It has the original Sheffield speakers.

    2- 6L6 power tubes and 5-12ax7 pre amp tubes

    2 footswitchable channels...rhythm and lead. Footswitchable reverb. Footswitch included.

    Master Presence and Resonance controls.

    Low and High gain inputs.

    Effects loop

    Cosmetically, it has some scuffs and scrapes...no major damage. No scratchy pots. Its loud and heavy...but it sounds great. A total rock n roll machine!

    $550...local pickup only.

    Thanks for looking!

    Oh man! Killer amp!

    My first 5150 was exactly this. Heavy as hell, but sounded great! Mine got thrashed in shipping, but kept on ticking for a really long time (after fixing the enclosure with clamps and lots of glue, lol!)

    If you were local, I'd be all over this!

      IMO this is the absolute best-toned version of the 5150 series ever made. Pulling a pair of tubes on the 120w block-letter is basically the same also.
      Maybe in an arena with a loud band the full size is better, but anything short of that I prefer the 60w,,,,,,,at least with metal gain levels.

      It's nice seeing one in this great shape, wish I was closer too.

      edit;
      And these things with either celestion m/t or k/v speaker combos are on another level entirely. (IMHO)
