This is a very cool Les Paul, right here!
Painted by Tom Murphy, this a a super rare LP, 1 of 5 made that were never made available to the public. There were 5 of these built in 2015 and were given as gifts by Gibson...as the story goes. There is no Custom Shop logo on the back, but there is no doubt, that these were very special!
The finish is a pearl coat. Very shimmery. Very glossy and deep. There is some finish checking by the knobs, on the headstock and one check on the back of the heel (see pics) There are no cracks, breaks or repairs.
The neck is a 60s carve, topped with a rich, dark rosewood fretboard. Long tenon. The frets show very minor wear. Grover Keystone locking tuners. 57 Classic Pickups. OHSC (no candy). Original factory harness with push/pulls. TONEPROS locking bridge and tailpiece.
Fresh setup with 10s...low action. Classic, rich LP tone. Great looks, great playability!
