Well, now you can get the black/white "Eruption" model - just 2 changes: big headstock and plain Fender Strat bridge, for $700 more than the normal black/white stripe. Ooooh, and they angled the pickup.

I believe it’s Basswood, which is… well, not what the original was.

Which is why many people play electric guitars but very very few of them are actually musicians.
