The G12C is our classic American workhorse. Boasting a 35 oz magnet, seamed cone and a 1.5" voice coil, this speaker drips with vintage American tones. A punchy, dynamic low end response coupled with a musically articulate top end give the G12C plenty of muscle while keeping it touch sensitive. The higher power handling means it will work equally well in lower wattage combos and bigger 2x12 cabs. Ready for your favorite American cleans? This is your speaker.
Bought this one for my Zinky Blue velvet 25 watt combo. Cleans and light breakup tones were fantastic but the voicing didn't work well with the blistering British sounding high gain side of the little Zinky. Just the wrong combo and went to a WGS Retro 30 in the Velvet. This however would be a fantastic Speaker for something like a Fender style combo. Does the warm clear cleans to medium breakup bluesy crunch very very well.
Speaker is up on Reverb but if someone wants it here for $85 shipped and PP in the lower 48 it's yours.
