Page 492 contains the secret of how to make people's heads explode using only your mind.

As for my favorite Frampton song, I can't say I know many. The reason behind the thread title is pretty much that it was playing while I was asked to take the well, and it kinda stuck in my head. So yeah, I'm gonna go with that one.

Yeah, my dad has a childhood buddy who is kinda like an uncle to me, who was pretty wicked during those years. Good stories for sure, about crashing through windows on motor bikes, going to kiss concert and doing the fireball thing coming out of the mouth while on a buddy's shoulders, and other things. He's still a great friend of the family, but has mellowed down a lot now, taking a very Zen approach to life. My dad is also a big rock fan who is still stuck in those years.

I am a HUGE 60s & 70s music fan. I have tapes of me when I was a kid in our home, not old enough to walk, but rocking out to some Led Zep. Music is probably one of the most important parts of my life, and classic rock is what I love. The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Frank Zappa, Supertramp, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant, The Doors, Hendrix, Steve Miller Band, and a list that could fill this entire page, are all artist I grew up listening to. If it's classic rock, odds are I have it on vinyl record at my place I was always a bit of an odd kid because of this, caus when my friends rocked out to Blink_182, I was listening to Jefferson Airplane's ''Surrealistic Pillow'' on vinyl.

What are your aspirations in life?

What does life look like for you when you're 60?

Who's your favorite historical figure? Why?

If you could choose fame and fortune (the variety of your choice) or obscurity and contentment which would you choose and why? (sounds like high school essay question )
I started out with nothing...and I still have most of it left.

Big questions, let's see if I am up to it.

My aspirations in life change a lot, but I think that is normal at the stage of life where I find myself. At the moment, being a student and all, it seems to be largely focused on my future career. I am currently studying history and english, and hope to land a job as a teacher in high school. Another big aspiration that is really getting in my head lately is the eventual possibility of having a house. So I guess my aspirations at this point are pretty career oriented. Once I get that done, i assume it will shift to family and personal fulfillment on a whole new level. Another one of my aspirations is continuing my life with my current girlfriend. it's gonna be 6 years soon for us, and I hope to have her in my life for a long time, as she really does complete me. Probably the only person weird enough to put up with me. So yeah, job, house, family.

Life when I am 60 eh, lol. I have trouble imagining my life after school to be honest. In a perfect world, I would be newly retired, with a home to live in, and time to play guitar and such, with travel thrown in.

My favorite historical figure is a difficult one. After 3 years of studying history, my perception of how to look at someone's life and learn from it has changed. I have a very strong interest in political philosophy and it's impact on history. For this reason, I think it would have to be a tie between John Locke and Carl Marx. Not to say that I agree with their ideas, but the impact of their concepts on history is mind blowing. If you asked me what my strait up typical favorite historical figure would be, I would probably have to tell you Sir Isaac Brock. He was a english General who was put in charge of defending the colony of Canada against the rebels of 13 american colonies in the war of 1812. His military tactics, combined with his ability to form ties with allies such as the native americans of the regions, and his impact on my country's history fascinates me, and I have done quite a bit of research on him.

If I had to choose, I would pick fame and fortune, but then use it to spread a message. I've always been a big fan of the concept of the 60s musician using his music as a medium for political or social activism. As cliché as it may sound, John Lennon would be the perfect example of this type of fame. That is probably what I would like to achieve, as I feel very strongly about politics and the way our society functions.
