after 3.5 years of working with it I've seen changes relating to how long it can be kept at X temperature (changing from "cold dough formula 6 to formula 8") but from working with it I'm convinced that it's the same, at least in my part of teh country

I'd say it's a ratio of about 1:60 or so. I don't play much acoustic, despite having a really good one. I learned guitar on an unplugged electric, so I'm sure that plays a big part in it. I didn't have an amp for my first two years of playing guitar... I've just sort of grown accustomed to the sound of an unplugged electric.

i feel like my passion for my job is like a curse. I get worked up when I talk about domino's.I hate some of the things domino's does but it's just stuff about their attitude and advertising and stuff. And my local dominos has management problems
but then I love that I can make a large pepperoni pizza from start to in the oven in 37 seconds. I feel like I run a good shift and people get good service on my watch.
Tomorrow is my last day at the dominos I work at (I'm moving across the state.) One of the people who works there got me and my brother a cake (he's a driver and he's moving too.) 3.5 years in one place is a long time for me.

    /thread hijack lol sorry

The new pizza has a few things:
The cheese is somewhat improved, but not by a lot.
The sauce is spicier. It actually has a flavour now. Good work there... unless you don't like spicy foods. it's not "kick your ass" spicy but it gets on some people's nerves.
The crust now has the garlic oil on it. This can be good or bad. It's good when the dude on the ovens doesn't go nuts with the stuff. The garlic oil is actually pretty salty, and a little goes a long way. Really, too much ruins it, and some domino's employees get pretty heavy handed. Lately the supplier for the garlic oil in the arizona/so. utah/las vegas region has been sending us garlic oil bottles where the stuff is WAY too thick. The salt/garlic to oil ratio is whack. I hope this isn't a permanent change, cuz the end result is that it's easier now to put too much of the garlic stuff on there. If you try it and don't like it, we'll leave it off if you tell us too. Actually though most people like it. I think it's OK.
The portioning for pepperoni and ham are less then they used to be, to try and keep pizzas from getting greasy. Not a bad idea.

The thing is domino's says they've reinvented their pizza from the crust up. They must mean "from the crust up, not including the crust" cuz the dough is the same. This facet of the advertising gets my goat. How dare they run around claiming they "completely revamped" their old pizza, when the true heart and soul of the pizza is the same?! Until they work on the dough, they'll always, always be inferior to pizza hut in my book. I dunno how the hut does what they do, but in the world of fast food pizza they're the shiiz.

So, that's not to say that domino's has a bad product, cuz it's not "bad", IMO, but it still needs work in some areas before they can say they've completely changed their pizza, or before they can say they're superior to anyone like Pizza hut... I go to pizza hut all the time. Those pan pizzas are CRAZY. It's so light and fluffy and their cheese has a nice fat content, it melts well and actually tastes like cheese!

    /rant

just be glad you didn't ask about what's wrong with my particular store. If they let me fire people, O man that place would be so much better. I don't mind working for domino's but I'm sick and tired of being one of only 2 people in our local management that care about anything.

Vincent & Fuse, is the new Domino's pizza really superior to its competitor's? I wrote Domino's off probably 10-15 years ago. I've heard great things about their new pizzas, but still can't get over their past.

do you hate any particular kind of guitar? Some folks hate things like strats or teles. I don't like thin-necked shred-sticks
