Yeah Marin it took me quite a while to get the sound just right, it is a massive od, it makes our fuzz sound small an boxy next to it, even in crunchmode.

Anyone here who has a DR504 amp??
I found one from 75 with four inputs, sadly the prices has taken a slight upward curve on these amps.

I just got a combo amp that cops a prety decent Hiwatt vibe, a Carlson Turbo Pup. It's a Fender blackface-style preamp mated to an EL34 power amp. I'll post some clips...in fact, the Tele/MASS clip I posted earlier is the Pup.

I had an old DR504 on my hands, but I talked to one of my old guitarbuddies last night, he could perhaps get me a DR103 from 68 for even less money than the newer DR504.
So I hope to obtain the DR103....uh loud bugger.

Just sold my DR103...great amp, but an attenuator is very necessary!
