  • Sears Silvertone Clip ( Amp is for sale)

I just recorded this for those that would like to hear the amp in action. I still am working on pics. The amp is on channel 2 ( higher gain input) volume 3/4th cranked bass and treble between 5 and 6. I am useing Alnico Eminence 122 35 watters ( Amazing speakers by the way) No attenuation.

Visit the trader section to see the post. It is a mid 60s Sears Silvertone Twin Twelve 1484 head with the original tubes 235.00 shipped. I have a couple interested parties but nothing official yet.....

That Amp is a Lil' screamer ! my buddy has one in his garage in some
form of disrepair. I'm gonna have to go over there and blow the dust
off it. I think he said it needs a output tranny and he couldn't find one ??

the trannies were not really robust, but I agree ... they have a great blues tone
the original speakers were Jensen C12Ns or Qs, I think ... I know they sounded good
