  • is there any lesson for the "crybaby" pedal?

i wonder if there is any lesson of how to use the "crybaby" pedal?

i just got the crybaby yesterday and have found out
how to make some cool things on it.
but i want to be better on it, and wonder if there are some secrets
    of using it.

    so... any links?

Just listen to the Masters of Wah. Jimi Hendrix and Cream era Clapton.
There's plenty to learn from them. I love the way Hendrix used the Wah on
`You got me floating' he is just pumping 1/4 notes with it while playing
the rhytmn . It can also be used to color your tone when you find the
sweet spot in the sweep range (i.e. Michael Schenker) have fun with it.

I takes an added bit of coordination. Try pumping it using triplets, sextuplets over sixteenth or eight notes. It's a bit hard to get both the timings right at the same time, but it sounds really cool.

You probably already know this but just accentuating your bends by fully opening the wah sounds awesome too.Think Slash.
Also try using the wah just as a filter even for rhythm is useful too.

My wah is part of a GT-6 but I hear if u plug a cry baby in backwards u can make some pretty cool seagull type sounds.

Yes just plug your guitar into the amp side and the amp into the giutar side
I think David Gilmour used to do this for some freak Floyd stuff

Yeah, I read that too, apparently he got fed up with doing it mid-gig for a certain song (I forget which one)
