  • THRUSH -- long-scale progressive, soundscape instrumental

I have been working on this piece to play live as a solo performance; just about got the kinks worked out. It's an improv piece for live guitar and synthesizer, largely influenced by Echoes from Pink Floyd as well as Brian Eno and Suzanne Ciani. The pads are a mono synth (Moog Mother-32) with a lot of delay and reverb. There is a random note sequence via a Turning Machine and Quantizer as well. Bass is my Yamaha TX7. Originally I was using my looper for a backing guitar track but I quite like the single lead guitar across the stark background and may keep it this way. The solo varies in length and content depending on how confident and inspired I am feeling. Anyway, hope you enjoy the ride! As usual, any and all feedback is appreciated.
Why don't you take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here?!
