      Haha. I don't know the ways of distortion connoisseurs yet. When I do it, all I hear is my unique tone go bye bye.

                      Use a thinner pick to get rid of some of that attack. Kurt used a .60mm Orange Tortex. 10-52 strings if you care about that, too. Also get a DS-1.

                        I found that a DS-2 really seemed to nail a lot of those Nirvana type tones.

                              That's the Turbo Distortion, right? That's what Kurt used most of the time, but DS-1s are way cheaper and work really well for that sound.
