Well with organ and other sounds it does sound rock. What I meant is with piano you can't ever really get it to come across as rock on its own, only in the context of the band.
    WAT?!

Nice, at first I thought you were doing a Wire cover

              Yap, indie times.

Edit: incidentally that's why I'm focusing back on art music. Cuz in popular music, without the inspiration of the tune and vocals, which I can't do, ur left with a 1,4,5 lol!

In the old days students usually get smacked on the fingers with wooden rod for playing like that. To avoid the pain and embarrassment practice sessions normally started with Hanon exercises.

Yeah no I have the exact same criticism of myself haha. I play without a pedal to incentivize myself to play more rhythmically. I know I can play more fluidly and legato if I practice more.

Also, how far back in time does one have to go to get smacked for the capital offense of poor piano performance? The 1700s?

Is that even a standard or just you fooling around the organ cause I can't seem to grasp the chord progression...lol.

                        The transition is kinda bumpy.

The one from my organ thread? It's a Jimmy Smith tune based on a F bluez. Yeah I know my stuff is bumpy in places. I ain't got all day to make things perfect. I've also only had the organ a month :P

Nice playing Clint - good vibes! I'd like to hear something along the same line with bass/drums too.

Thanks! I could work on that and add guitar.

Too bad Cobain isn't around anymore - you could teach him a bit about music. It's a fokin' (again, with a Bri' ish accent please) A+ piece and playing. I like it a LOT!
