Randy Hansen

It's very impressive as an impersonation from Randy - but I don't know -if you are going to go that far -I feel like the rest of the band should be in on it and go full tribute and create a full vibe and setting, instead of the band going with the typical Stugis Moto dude and Dental Bowling shirt styles backing him up -lets see some flared pants and top hats!

I seem to recall he tried doing originals at one point and it flopped. He's gotten work ever since doing the impersonation.

Why dont they go all in then? Like some of the great Beatles and Floyd tributes...

It's the only Randy is in tribute mode thing that makes it sort of not what it could be IMO

Costumes, Backdrop, lighting etc etc

Give me a full Jimi experience

I guess it is just about the work, and that's it. But I think you miss the point of Hendrix if you copy what he did.

That I 100% agree with. The point of a 'tribute' band is to give the audience a near-equivalent experience to what it was like back in the day, since there's no way to see Jimi live now.

One of my older music biz pals still holds the ticket he bought to see Hendrix play here in Wichita just before he passed.
"Jimi up and died on me before I could see him".
