I can't get sound in Reaper. Sound registers on my interface but it doesn't seem like it wants to connect. When it would work it would say connecting Apollo Twin when I turned it on, now it just does a beep.

I haven't used Reaper in years so I doubt I have the answer, but have you checked the Audio > Device settings to make sure it's seeing your interface, using the correct driver, set for the right number of inputs, etc?

What the poster above said. Also make sure you haven't routed anything incorrectly, that the correct input is selected on the target track, that it's armed etc. Could be a number of things.

Which OS are you using and have you upgraded the OS lately.

I think it stopped working around the time I went to windows 11 but I'm not sure.

I've checked settings and hardware. I'm getting output but no input. I can play tracks thru the interface headphones.

Also it won't work in Studio One daw either.

I would try rolling back my OS to a time when it worked. If it doesn't work then it could possibly be a hardware failure.

Could it be hardware failure if it's done this same thing on 2 computers in a row where it worked all the time, then intermittently, then not at all?

Is there a firmware upgrade available for your hardware?

I downloaded the latest driver pack. Should that do it? It was suggested that I uninstall the drivers then reinstall them.

I got it to work. I needed to run the UA mixing program, Console, with my Apollo Twin interface for input to work in the DAW.
