So i got a 59 in the bridge and wanted a chuncky distortion in the neck so i could play using both pick ups (middle postion of pick up selector) but everyone was telling me that neck pickups are too bassy, so i found a dimarzio that wasnt (according 2 them) check it out here...

i need a fat distortion sound like thrice or finch. i have a rg-220 ibanez. i just need it for my neck pickup. any suggestions.

hi well i have a 59 pick up and i think its getting canceled out cause the "PHASE" when i go and switch to my neck pick up it works fine but when i switch to the 59 (bridge pick up) it has no sound coming out. is phase the problem here if so how do i fix it. and if not what else could it be thanx

ya i bought a '59 pick up from guitar center the other day and tried to put it in my ibanez but 4 some reason i dont think it will work. so i have a quick question. does a rg 220 have 2 conductors or four and will the 59 sound ok with it. oh ya some one told me that if my ibanez has 4 conductors...
